SENATE ADVICE AND CONSENT SUBJECT TO A DECLARATION.</p><br><p></p><br><p>The Senate advises and consents to the ratification of the Convention on the Law Applicable to Certain Rights in Respect of Securities Held with an Intermediary, done at The Hague on July 5, 2006, and signed by the United States on that same day (the ‘‘Convention’’) (Treaty Doc. 112-6), subject to the declaration of section 2.</p><br><p></p><br><p>SEC. 2. DECLARATION.</p><br><p></p><br><p>The advice and consent of the Senate under section1 is subject to the following declaration: The Convention is self-executing.</p><br><br><br>
