(PACE is a program under Medicare and Medicaid that provides in-home and community services for certain individuals as an alternative to nursing home care.) Specifically, the bill allows PACE enrollees who are Medicare (but not Medicaid) beneficiaries to choose a prescription drug plan that is not a Medicare Advantage plan or operated by PACE and for which annual out-of-pocket costs and federal subsidies are equal to or less than that under the applicable PACE prescription drug plan. The bill also allows for disenrollment from a chosen plan upon a change in medication or demonstration of an unexpected increase in out-of-pocket costs. PACE programs must conduct outreach, monitor data, and coordinate benefits with respect to such options.", "2023-07-14T12:45:30Z", "https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/senate-bill/5106"]], "columns": ["bill_id", "congress", "bill_type", "bill_number", "title", "policy_area", "introduced_date", "latest_action_date", "latest_action_text", "origin_chamber", "sponsor_name", "sponsor_state", "sponsor_party", "sponsor_bioguide_id", "cosponsor_count", "summary_text", "update_date", "url"], "primary_keys": ["bill_id"], "primary_key_values": ["117-s-5106"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.3297890070825815, "source": "Federal Register API & Regulations.gov API", "source_url": "https://www.federalregister.gov/developers/api/v1", "license": "Public Domain (U.S. Government data)", "license_url": "https://www.regulations.gov/faq"}
