E9-22933 Determination of Attainment of the 1997 8-Hour Ozone Standard for Imperial County, CA Proposed Rule The EPA is proposing to determine that the Imperial County, California moderate 8-hour ozone nonattainment area has attained the 1997 8-hour National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) for ozone. The State of California has requested this determination, which is based upon three years of certified ambient air monitoring data that show the area has monitored attainment of the 8-hour ozone NAAQS since the 2006-2008 monitoring period.
