| E8-26973 | Inert Ingredient: Exemption from the Requirement of a Tolerance for (S,S)-Ethylenediaminedisuccinic Acid | Rule | This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of (S,S)-Ethylenediaminedisuccinic acid (CAS Reg. No. 20846-91-7) ((S,S)-EDDS) when used as an inert ingredient sequestrant or chelating agent in pesticide formulations applied to growing crops only under 40 CFR 180.920. Associated Octel Company, Limited, submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996 (FQPA), requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance. This regulation eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of (S,S)-Ethylenediaminedisuccinic acid. | 2008-11-14 | 2008 | 11 | https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2008/11/14/E8-26973/inert-ingredient-exemption-from-the-requirement-of-a-tolerance-for-ss-ethylenediaminedisuccinic-acid | https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2008-11-14/pdf/E8-26973.pdf | Environmental Protection Agency | 145 | This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of (S,S)-Ethylenediaminedisuccinic acid (CAS Reg.
