A final rule that was published in the Federal Register on July 18, 2007, and effective August 17, 2007, reorganized the cold treatment regulations by moving requirements regarding cold treatment that had previously been contained in the regulations governing the importation of fruits and vegetables to the section of the regulations containing the requirements for cold treatment enclosures and conducting cold treatment.
