The regulations provide the procedural and substantive rules for SRBC review and approval of water resources projects and the procedures governing hearings and enforcement actions. These amendments include additional due process safeguards, add new standards for projects, improve organizational structure, incorporate recently adopted policies and clarify language. The amendments were first proposed on July 7, 2006 in the Federal Register, Vol. 71, No. 130, p. 38692. Comments received on the proposed rule making are summarized with accompanying responses in the "Supplementary Information" section below.
