99-28031 Rescinding Findings That the 1-Hour Ozone Standard No Longer Applies in Certain Areas Proposed Rule On October 25, 1999, the EPA published the preamble to this proposed rule, proposing to rescind its prior findings that the 1-hour ozone national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS) and its accompanying designations and classifications no longer apply in certain areas. Under the proposal, the designations and classifications that previously applied in such areas with respect to the 1-hour standard would be reinstated.
