L. 97-375), we are giving notice of a joint meeting of the Commerce Secretary's 2000 Census Advisory Committee (CAC), the CAC of Professional Associations, the CAC on the African American Population, the CAC on the American Indian and Alaska Native Populations, the CAC on the Asian and Pacific Islander Populations, and the CAC on the Hispanic Population. The meeting will convene on June 3, 1998, at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites, 625 First Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. The agenda will be limited to discussion on issues involved in the tabulation and presentation of data on race from Census 2000 within the framework of the decision on standards for maintaining, collecting, and presenting Federal data on race and ethnicity issued by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in October 1997.
