97-19820 Animal Drug Availability Act; Medicated Feed Mill Licenses Proposed Rule The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is proposing to amend the animal drug regulations to provide for feed mill licensing in accordance with the Animal Drug Availability Act (ADAA) of 1996. The ADAA amends the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (the act) to require a single facility license for the manufacture of feeds containing approved new animal drugs, rather than multiple medicated feed applications (MFA's) for each feed mill, as previously required by the act.
