| 96-16012 | Standards of Performance for New Stationary Sources for Nonmetallic Mineral Processing Plants; Amendments | Proposed Rule | This action proposes revisions and clarifications to several provisions of the standards of performance for nonmetallic mineral processing plants, which were promulgated in the Federal Register on August 1, 1985 (50 FR 31328). On January 26, 1995, the National Stone Association petitioned EPA to review the existing standards. These revisions are in keeping with President Clinton's Regulatory Reinvention Initiative. The intended effect of this action is to reduce the costs of emission testing and reporting and recordkeeping. The affected industries and numerical emission limits remain unchanged except for individual, enclosed storage bins. A public hearing will be held, if requested, to provide interested persons an opportunity for oral presentation of data, views, or arguments concerning the proposed revised standards. | 1996-06-27 | 1996 | 6 | https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/1996/06/27/96-16012/standards-of-performance-for-new-stationary-sources-for-nonmetallic-mineral-processing-plants | https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-1996-06-27/pdf/96-16012.pdf | Environmental Protection Agency | 145 | This action proposes revisions and clarifications to several provisions of the standards of performance for nonmetallic mineral processing plants, which were promulgated in the Federal Register on August 1, 1985 (50 FR 31328).
