95-31490 Proposed Airspace and Flight Operations Requirements for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games, Atlanta, GA Proposed Rule This document proposes a Special Federal Aviation Regulation (SFAR), applicable for the period July 5 through August 11, 1996, to establish temporary flight restricted (TFR) areas overlying the various competition venues for the XXVI Olympic Games. This action also proposes to require slot reservations for arrivals and departures at specified airports in the vicinity of the Olympic Games. The FAA believes this action is necessary for the security of the venues, safe operation and management of aircraft operating to, within, and from these areas, and to prevent any unsafe congestion of sightseeing and other aircraft over the various game sites. 1995-12-29 1995 12 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/1995/12/29/95-31490/proposed-airspace-and-flight-operations-requirements-for-the-1996-summer-olympic-games-atlanta-ga https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-1995-12-29/pdf/95-31490.pdf Transportation Department; Federal Aviation Administration 492,159 This document proposes a Special Federal Aviation Regulation (SFAR), applicable for the period July 5 through August 11, 1996, to establish temporary flight restricted (TFR) areas overlying the various competition venues for the XXVI Olympic Games....
