L. 94-409), we are giving notice of a meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Task Force For Designing the Year 2000 Census and Census-Related Activities for 2000-2009. The meeting will convene on Thursday, June 2, 1994, continuing through Friday, June 3, 1994, at the DuPont Plaza Hotel, 1500 New Hampshire Avenue, NW., Washington, DC. The Advisory Committee is composed of a Chairperson, twenty-five member organizations, and nine ex officio members, all appointed by the Secretary of Commerce. The Advisory Committee will consider the goals of the census and user needs for information provided by the census, and provide a perspective from the standpoint of the outside user community on how proposed designs for the year 2000 census realize those goals and satisfy those needs.
