2026-19355 Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes Proposed Rule The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A300 series airplanes; Model A300 B4-601, A300 B4-603, and A300 B4-622 airplanes; Model A300 B4-600R series airplanes; Model A300 C4-605R Variant F airplanes; and Model A300 F4-600R series airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of cracking of the main landing gear (MLG) two-piece cages due to incorrect machining. This proposed AD would require replacing an affected MLG with a serviceable MLG and would limit the installation of an affected MLG under certain conditions. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. 2026-09-22 2026 9 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2026/09/22/2026-19355/airworthiness-directives-airbus-sas-airplanes https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2026-09-22/pdf/2026-19355.pdf Transportation Department; Federal Aviation Administration 492,159 The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A300 series airplanes; Model A300 B4-601, A300 B4-603, and A300 B4-622 airplanes; Model A300 B4-600R series airplanes; Model A300 C4-605R Variant F airplanes; and... 2120-AA64
