Additionally, the EPA is proposing to determine that the Canton Nonattainment Area has attained the 2008 Pb NAAQS and to approve Ohio's maintenance plan for continued attainment. With these approvals, the EPA is also proposing to approve Ohio's comprehensive Pb emissions inventory and to act in accordance with Ohio Environmental Protection Agency's (Ohio EPA) request to redesignate the Canton Nonattainment Area from nonattainment to attainment of the 2008 Pb NAAQS.
