This final rule implements the authorities of the VA MISSION Act of 2018 and the William M. (Mac) Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021. This final rule enables VA to maximize health care resource utilization and provide safe and convenient national health care to veterans using telehealth.
