2024-31378 Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes Proposed Rule The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A319-111, -112, -113, -114, -115, -131, -132, and -133 airplanes; Model A320-211, -212, -214, -216, -231, -232, -233, -251N, -252N, -253N, -271N, -272N, and -273N airplanes; Model A321-211, -212, -213, -231, -232, -251N, -251NX, -252N, -252NX, -253N, -253NX, - 253NY, -271N, -271NX, -272N, and -272NX airplanes; Airbus SAS Model A330-200 series airplanes; Model A330-300 series airplanes; Model A330- 800 series airplanes; Model A330-900 series airplanes; Model A350-941 and -1041 airplanes; and Model A380-800 series airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by a report of corrosion and cracks on the broadband antenna adapter plate during an inspection. This proposed AD would require repetitive general visual inspections (GVI) of the broadband antenna adapter plate, skirt, vents, and attachment fittings and limit the installation of affected parts under certain conditions, as specified in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD, which is proposed for incorporation by reference (IBR). The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. 2024-12-31 2024 12 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2024/12/31/2024-31378/airworthiness-directives-airbus-sas-airplanes https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2024-12-31/pdf/2024-31378.pdf Transportation Department; Federal Aviation Administration 492,159 The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus SAS Model A319-111, -112, -113, -114, -115, -131, -132, and -133 airplanes; Model A320-211, -212, -214, -216, -231, -232, -233, -251N, -252N, -253N, -271N, -272N, and -273N...
