2024-30785 Airworthiness Directives; General Electric Company Engines Proposed Rule The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain General Electric Company (GE) Model CF34-8C1, CF34-8C5, CF34-8C5A1, CF34-8C5A2, CF34-8C5A3, CF34-8C5B1, CF34-8E2, CF34-8E2A1, CF34-8E5, CF34-8E5A1, CF34-8E5A2, CF34-8E6, and CF34-8E6A1 engines. This proposed AD was prompted by a predicted reduction in the cyclic life of the combustion chamber assembly (CCA) forward flange. This proposed AD would require fluorescent penetrant inspections (FPIs) of the CCA for any indications and replacement if necessary. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. 2024-12-27 2024 12 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2024/12/27/2024-30785/airworthiness-directives-general-electric-company-engines https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2024-12-27/pdf/2024-30785.pdf Transportation Department; Federal Aviation Administration 492,159 The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain General Electric Company (GE) Model CF34-8C1, CF34-8C5, CF34-8C5A1, CF34-8C5A2, CF34-8C5A3, CF34-8C5B1, CF34-8E2, CF34-8E2A1, CF34-8E5, CF34-8E5A1, CF34-8E5A2, CF34-8E6, and...
