2024-29362 Streptomyces Sviceus DGT-28 EPSPS (5-Enolpyruvylshikimate-3-Phosphate Synthase) Protein; Exemption From the Requirement of a Tolerance Rule This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of the Streptomyces sviceus DGT-28 EPSPS (5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase) protein (hereafter DGT-28 EPSPS protein), in or on the food and feed commodities of corn: corn, field; corn, sweet; and corn, pop, when used as a plant-incorporated protectant (PIP) inert ingredient. Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc., (Pioneer) submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance.
