2017-25017 Approval of California Air Plan Revisions, Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District Proposed Rule The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve and conditionally approve revisions to the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District (MDAQMD or "District") portion of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). These revisions concern the District's demonstration regarding Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) requirements for the 1997 8-hour ozone and the 2008 8-hour ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS or "standard") in the portion of the Western Mojave Desert ozone nonattainment area under the jurisdiction of the MDAQMD. We are taking comments on this proposal and plan to follow with a final action. 2017-11-17 2017 11 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2017/11/17/2017-25017/approval-of-california-air-plan-revisions-mojave-desert-air-quality-management-district https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2017-11-17/pdf/2017-25017.pdf Environmental Protection Agency 145 The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve and conditionally approve revisions to the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District (MDAQMD or "District") portion of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP).
