2014-30574 Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; 90-Day Findings on Two Petitions Proposed Rule We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), announce 90- day findings on a petition to delist the coastal California gnatcatcher (Polioptila californica californica) and a petition to list the monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus plexippus) under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act). Based on our review, we find that both petitions present substantial scientific or commercial information indicating that the petitioned actions may be warranted. Therefore, with the publication of this notice, we are initiating a review of the status of these subspecies to determine if the petitioned actions are warranted. To ensure that these status reviews are comprehensive, we are requesting scientific and commercial data and other information regarding these subspecies. Based on the status reviews, we will issue 12-month findings on the petitions, which will address whether the petitioned action is warranted, as provided in section 4(b)(3)(B) of the Act. 2014-12-31 2014 12 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2014/12/31/2014-30574/endangered-and-threatened-wildlife-and-plants-90-day-findings-on-two-petitions https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2014-12-31/pdf/2014-30574.pdf Interior Department; Fish and Wildlife Service 253,197 We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), announce 90- day findings on a petition to delist the coastal California gnatcatcher (Polioptila californica californica) and a petition to list the monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus plexippus) under...
