| 2014-29587 | Approval and Promulgation of Air Quality Implementation Plans; Indiana; Ozone and PM2.5 Standards | Proposed Rule | The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a submission by the State of Indiana as a revision to the Indiana State Implementation Plan (SIP). The submitted regulations revise Indiana's ambient air quality standards for ozone and particulate matter to be consistent with EPA's 2008 ozone and 2012 fine particulate matter National Ambient Air Quality Standards. EPA is therefore approving these SIP revisions in accordance with the requirements of the Clean Air Act. In the Final Rules section of this Federal Register, EPA is approving the State's SIP submittal as a direct final rule without prior proposal because the Agency views this as a noncontroversial submittal and anticipates no adverse comments. A detailed rationale for the approval is set forth in the direct final rule. If no adverse comments are received in response to this action, no further activity is contemplated. If EPA receives adverse comments, the direct final rule will be withdrawn and all public comments received will be addressed in a subsequent final rule based on this proposed rule. EPA will not institute a second comment period. Any parties interested in commenting on this action should do so at this time. | 2014-12-18 | 2014 | 12 | https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2014/12/18/2014-29587/approval-and-promulgation-of-air-quality-implementation-plans-indiana-ozone-and-pm25-standards | https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2014-12-18/pdf/2014-29587.pdf | Environmental Protection Agency | 145 | The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a submission by the State of Indiana as a revision to the Indiana State Implementation Plan (SIP).
