In the advance notice of proposed rulemaking, FDA solicited comments, data, and information to assist the Agency in implementing the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), which added new provisions to the Reportable Food Registry (RFR) requirements of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (the FD&C Act).
