2013-31101 Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate; Exemption From the Requirement of a Tolerance Rule This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of copper sulfate pentahydrate when applied to all food contact surfaces in public eating places, dairy-processing equipment, and food-processing equipment at a maximum level in the end use concentration of 80 parts per million (ppm). Toxcel on behalf of OhSo Clean, Inc., submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), requesting establishment of an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance.
