2013-30175 Energy Conservation Program: Energy Conservation Standards for Certain Consumer Products Proposed Rule The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE or the "Department") proposes to adopt into the Code of Federal Regulations the definitions for "through-the-wall central air conditioner" and "through-the-wall central air conditioning heat pump" that were established in section 5 of the American Energy Manufacturing Technical Corrections Act.
