2012-24300 Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Proposed Endangered Species Status for the Florida Bonneted Bat Proposed Rule We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, propose to list the Florida bonneted bat (Eumops floridanus), as an endangered species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act). This proposed rule, if made final, would extend the Act's protections to this species. We have found that critical habitat is prudent but not determinable at this time due to lack of knowledge of which physical and biological features are essential to the conservation of the species. The Service seeks data and comments from the public on this proposed listing rule and on the biological needs of the species that will enable the Service to define critical habitat for this species. 2012-10-04 2012 10 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2012/10/04/2012-24300/endangered-and-threatened-wildlife-and-plants-proposed-endangered-species-status-for-the-florida https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2012-10-04/pdf/2012-24300.pdf Interior Department; Fish and Wildlife Service 253,197 We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, propose to list the Florida bonneted bat (Eumops floridanus), as an endangered species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act).
