2010-5112 Approval and Promulgation of Implementation Plans and Designation of Areas for Air Quality Planning Purposes; Indiana Proposed Rule EPA proposes to approve a request from the State of Indiana to redesignate Lake and Porter Counties to attainment of the 1997 eight- hour ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS). In proposing to approve this request, EPA also proposes to approve, as a revision of the Indiana State Implementation Plan (SIP), the State's plan for maintaining the eight-hour ozone standard through 2020 in Lake and Porter Counties and in the Chicago-Gary-Lake County, Illinois-Indiana (IL-IN) ozone nonattainment area. In addition, EPA proposes to approve Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) and Nitrogen Oxides (NO<INF>X</INF>) emission inventories for Lake and Porter Counties as a revision of the Indiana SIP.
