04-4221 Peaches, Plums, and Nectarines; Grade Standards Uncategorized Document This rule revises the United States Standards for Grades of Peaches, the United States Standards for Grades of Fresh Plums and Prunes, and the United States Standards for Grades of Nectarines. These standards are issued under the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1946. The changes are based on the findings of a California Tree Fruit Agreement (CTFA) Task Force that was formed to review the standards, and on subsequent discussions with industry. The revisions will bring the standards into conformity with current packing, marketing and cultural practices.
