| 02-32213 | Service Rules for Advanced Wireless Services | Proposed Rule | This document solicits comment on service rules for Advanced Wireless Services in the 1710-1755 MHZ and 2110-2155 MHz bands, including provisions for application, licensing, operating and technical rules, and for competitive bidding. These frequency bands have previously been used for a variety of Government and non- Government services. Concurrently with this document, the Commission adopted another decision, published elsewhere in this Federal Register, allocating these frequency bands for fixed and mobile services to provide for the introduction of new advanced wireless services to the public.
