The program will focus on comprehensive risk management education (RME) for agricultural producers in the United States. It will address national, regional and local risk management issues and encourage partnering in program delivery. The amount available for this program in FY 2001 is approximately $4,800,000. This notice sets out the objectives for projects, the eligibility criteria for projects and applicants, the application procedures, and the set of instructions needed to apply for an Agricultural Risk Management Education Competitive grant under this authority. By this notice, CSREES is also soliciting comments regarding this Request for Proposals (RFP) from any interested party. These comments will be considered in the development of future RFP's for the program.
