01-9036 Interpretation of the “Advice” Exemption in Section 203(c) of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act Notice The Department is rescinding the revision of an interpretation of the "advice" exemption in section 203(c) of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959, as amended (LMRDA) published in the Federal Register on January 11, 2001. This action is being taken because, after review of the revised interpretation, the Department has concluded that the prior longstanding interpretation is the more appropriate one.
