| 01-7232 | Employee Elections to Contribute to the Thrift Savings Plan | Proposed Rule | The Executive Director of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (Board) proposes to amend the regulations on employee elections to contribute to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) to provide for employee participation in the Thrift Savings Plan to begin immediately upon the employee's appointment to a position covered by FERS or CSRS, or an equivalent retirement plan. Beginning July 1, 2001, participants also will be able to transfer into their TSP accounts funds from certain qualified retirement plans or conduit individual retirement accounts (IRAs). In addition, the limitations on employee contributions (as a percentage of basic pay) are phased out over the next 5 years. | 2001-03-26 | 2001 | 3 | https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2001/03/26/01-7232/employee-elections-to-contribute-to-the-thrift-savings-plan | https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2001-03-26/pdf/01-7232.pdf | Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board | 189 | The Executive Director of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (Board) proposes to amend the regulations on employee elections to contribute to the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) to provide for employee participation in the Thrift Savings Plan to... |
