01-32007 Proposed Modification of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport Class B Airspace Area; KY Proposed Rule This action proposes to modify the current Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) Class B airspace area. Specifically, this action proposes to expand the lateral limits of Area C; reduce the lateral limits of Area F; eliminate Area G; and raise the upper limit of the entire Class B airspace area from 8,000 feet mean sea level (MSL) to 10,000 feet MSL. The FAA is proposing this action to enhance safety, reduce the potential for midair collisions, and to improve the management of air traffic operations in the CVG terminal area. Further, this effort supports the FAA's National Airspace Redesign project goal of optimizing terminal and enroute airspace areas to reduce aircraft delays and improve system capacity. 2001-12-31 2001 12 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2001/12/31/01-32007/proposed-modification-of-the-cincinnatinorthern-kentucky-international-airport-class-b-airspace-area https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2001-12-31/pdf/01-32007.pdf Transportation Department; Federal Aviation Administration 492,159 This action proposes to modify the current Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) Class B airspace area.
