Further, the NCUA Board is issuing "Guidelines for Safeguarding Member Information" to implement certain provisions of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (the GLB Act or Act). The GLB Act requires the NCUA Board to establish appropriate standards for federally-insured credit unions relating to administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for member records and information.
