TVA has decided to adopt the preferred alternative identified in its Final Environmental Impact Statement for the Addition of Electric Generation Peaking Capacity at Greenfield Sites, Mississippi. The Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) was made available to the public in March 2001. A Notice of Availability (NOA) of the Final EIS was published by the Environmental Protection Agency in the Federal Register on March 16, 2001.
