| 00-27522 | Refund of Duties Paid on Imports of Certain Wool Products | Proposed Rule | This document proposes to amend the Customs Regulations to implement the provisions of section 505 of Title V of the Trade and Development Act of 2000. Section 505 permits U.S. manufacturers of certain wool articles to claim a limited refund of duties paid in each of calendar years 2000, 2001, and 2002 on imports of select wool products. The maximum amount eligible to be refunded in each of these successive claim years is limited to an amount not to exceed one-third of the amount of duties actually paid on such wool products imported in calendar year 1999. The proposed amendments contained in this document set forth the eligibility, documentation, and procedural requirements necessary to substantiate a claim for a duty refund under the terms of the statute. | 2000-10-26 | 2000 | 10 | https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2000/10/26/00-27522/refund-of-duties-paid-on-imports-of-certain-wool-products | https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2000-10-26/pdf/00-27522.pdf | Treasury Department; Customs Service | 497,96 | This document proposes to amend the Customs Regulations to implement the provisions of section 505 of Title V of the Trade and Development Act of 2000.
