00-24052 Drug Abuse Treatment Programs: Participation Requirements Proposed Rule In this document, the Bureau of Prisons is proposing to amend its regulations on participation requirements for the drug abuse education course and the institution residential drug abuse treatment program. The amendment clarifies the distinction between mandatory and voluntary participation in the drug abuse education course, removes eligibility limitations pertaining to cognitive impairments and learning disabilities, and addresses the effects of non-participation both in the drug abuse education course and in the institution residential drug abuse treatment program.
