| 00-22531 | U.S. Treasury Securities-State and Local Government Series | Rule | State and Local Government Series (SLGS) securities are offered to provide issuers of tax exempt securities with investments from any amounts that constitute gross proceeds of an issue, or assist in complying with applicable provisions of the Internal Revenue Code relating to the tax exemption. We're publishing an interim rule amending the rules to allow you to submit SLGS subscriptions over the Internet to the Division of Special Investments (DSI), Bureau of the Public Debt (Public Debt), Department of the Treasury (Treasury). Under the Government Paperwork Elimination Act (GPEA), executive agencies must generally provide, where practicable, for the optional use and acceptance of electronic documents, record keeping and signatures by October 2003. We are implementing the GPEA by offering SLGSafeSM, a secure site where Internet customers can submit subscriptions, change account information, and redeem securities. We've also rewritten this part in plain language. | 2000-09-13 | 2000 | 9 | https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2000/09/13/00-22531/us-treasury-securities-state-and-local-government-series | https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2000-09-13/pdf/00-22531.pdf | Treasury Department; Fiscal Service | 497,585 | State and Local Government Series (SLGS) securities are offered to provide issuers of tax exempt securities with investments from any amounts that constitute gross proceeds of an issue, or assist in complying with applicable provisions of the Internal... |
