| 00-18527 | Environment, Public Health and Safety | Proposed Rule | The National Indian Gaming Commission (Commission) proposes regulations that provide for adequate protection of the environment, public health and safety under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (Act). These regulations would implement the provisions of the Act which require that tribal gaming facilities be constructed, maintained and operated in a manner which protects the environment, public health and safety. The primary effect of this action is to have gaming tribes regulated by the Act develop and implement environment, public health and safety standards at their gaming operations. This regulation will establish a process through which the Commission and tribal government(s) exercise concurrent regulatory authority in enforcing these standards. | 2000-07-24 | 2000 | 7 | https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2000/07/24/00-18527/environment-public-health-and-safety | https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2000-07-24/pdf/00-18527.pdf | National Indian Gaming Commission | 347 | The National Indian Gaming Commission (Commission) proposes regulations that provide for adequate protection of the environment, public health and safety under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (Act).
