In FY 2000 only, Sea Grant expects to make available about $700,000, and the Service $300,000, to support projects to improve ballast water treatment and management in the Chesapeake Bay and the Great Lakes in particular (Sea Grant), and in U.S. coastal and Great Lakes waters in general (Service).
