00-12153 Onions Grown in Certain Designated Counties in Idaho, and Malheur County, Oregon; Decreased Assessment Rate Proposed Rule This rule would decrease the assessment rate established for the Idaho-Eastern Oregon Onion Committee (Committee) under Marketing Order No. 958 for the 2000-2001 and subsequent fiscal periods from $0.09 to $0.08 per hundredweight of onions handled. The Committee is responsible for local administration of the marketing order which regulates the handling of onions grown in designated counties in Idaho, and Malheur County, Oregon. Authorization to assess Idaho-Eastern Oregon onion handlers enables the Committee to incur expenses that are reasonable and necessary to administer the program. The fiscal period begins July 1 and ends June 30. The assessment rate would remain in effect indefinitely unless modified, suspended, or terminated. 2000-05-15 2000 5 https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2000/05/15/00-12153/onions-grown-in-certain-designated-counties-in-idaho-and-malheur-county-oregon-decreased-assessment https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2000-05-15/pdf/00-12153.pdf Agriculture Department; Agricultural Marketing Service 12,9 This rule would decrease the assessment rate established for the Idaho-Eastern Oregon Onion Committee (Committee) under Marketing Order No. 958 for the 2000-2001 and subsequent fiscal periods from $0.09 to $0.08 per hundredweight of onions handled.
