00-11874 Small Business Size Regulations; Size Standards and the North American Industry Classification System Rule The Small Business Administration (SBA) is amending its size regulations by establishing a new table of small business size standards for industries as the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) defines them. These new size standards are effective beginning with Fiscal Year 2001, which starts on October 1, 2000. Small business size standards currently exist for most industries under the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system.
