| 00-11 | Airworthiness Directives; Boeing Model 767-200, -300, and -300F Series Airplanes | Rule | This amendment adopts a new airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to certain Boeing Model 767-200, -300, and -300F series airplanes, that requires replacement of the hydraulic reducer fitting in the return port of the alternate brake selector valve with a new restrictor fitting. This amendment is prompted by a report indicating that a brake housing had fractured due to high loads associated with brake vibration during landing gear retraction, which allowed the torque rod to swing free. The actions specified by this AD are intended to prevent failure of the brake housing in the torque rod region, which could reduce the braking capability of the airplane and/or prevent the extension of a main landing gear by any method. | 2000-01-04 | 2000 | 1 | https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2000/01/04/00-11/airworthiness-directives-boeing-model-767-200--300-and--300f-series-airplanes | https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2000-01-04/pdf/00-11.pdf | Transportation Department; Federal Aviation Administration | 492,159 | This amendment adopts a new airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to certain Boeing Model 767-200, -300, and -300F series airplanes, that requires replacement of the hydraulic reducer fitting in the return port of the alternate brake selector valve... |
