fec_employer_totals: AMERICA FIRST ACTION

Pre-computed aggregates of the FEC employer field as filed — the verbatim employer string from public individual-contribution filings, totaled by employer. DataDawn publishes no donor names, addresses, or donor-level records. Employer keys are verbatim strings from FEC filings and may denote a sole proprietorship or eponymous business; counts reflect contributions, not employees. Keys where a single contributor's giving dominates the aggregate are not indexed for full-text search (they are not representative employer aggregates); they remain in the dataset. The same records are public at fec.gov, which additionally exposes donor name, address, and occupation and is searchable by employer.
