The EA analyzes the potential environmental impacts of alternative approaches to WS involvement with managing damage caused by several mammalian predator species as part of the Texas Wildlife Services Program. WS has issued a Decision and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the EA. Based on the analyses contained in the final EA and the associated Decision/FONSI, WS concluded that implementation of the proposed action alternative (Alternative 1) would not have a significant impact upon the quality of the human environment. The proposed action is to implement an integrated approach using a variety of methods to reduce predator damage to agricultural resources, property, and natural resources, and threats to human health and safety. WS signed the Decision and FONSI on December 20, 2023 selecting the proposed action alternative.
