This proposal is to modify Table 1 – Size Designation and Size Variation Chart by the following: • Add 2 new sizes: o Size 15, defined as a maximum number of 22 pieces of kiwifruit in an 8-pound sample, 1” size variation tolerance o Size 12, defined as a maximum number of 19 pieces of kiwifruit in an 8-pound sample, 1” size variation tolerance • For Size 18, increase the size variation tolerance (diameter) from 1/2” to 1” • For Size 45, increase the size variation tolerance (diameter) from 1/4” to 3/8” • Redefine Size 45 as a maximum number of 56 pieces of kiwifruit in an 8-pound sample.
