The increasing demand has led to supply chain challenges in the United States that may impact the economy and national security.\nCongress has considered legislation to address a wide array of issues concerning critical minerals\u2014including mining, trade, recycling, and research and development\u2014and may continue to engage in critical minerals policymaking.\nTo help provide context to Members of Congress and their staffs when considering legislative proposals, this report compiles a selection of resources providing information on a wide array of issues concerning critical minerals.
