Kean, Jr.", "role": "speaking"}]   172 Cong. Rec. E1006 Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 156 (Thursday, October 1, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 156 (Thursday, October 1, 2026)] [Extensions of Remarks] [Pages E1006-E1007] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [www.gpo.gov] HONORING THE 120TH ANNIVERSARY OF DONALDSON FARMS ______ HON. THOMAS H. KEAN, JR. of new jersey in the house of representatives Thursday, October 1, 2026 Mr. KEAN. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize the 120th anniversary of Donaldson Farms in Hackettstown, New Jersey, and to honor the remarkable legacy this family-owned operation has built over six generations. Founded as a dairy farm in 1906, after the family traded a house in East Orange for a humble plot of land, Donaldson Farms has grown into a cherished Warren County institution while remaining deeply rooted in its agricultural heritage. At the heart of the business is the Donaldsons' enduring commitment to high-quality farming, exceptional service, and meaningful contributions to their neighbors and the broader community. Today, the farm welcomes as many as 7,000 guests each weekend to enjoy its farmers market, site tours, apple-picking activities, nursery, and greenhouse. These offerings provide families with opportunities to connect with agriculture, experience the beauty of the Garden State, and create lasting memories together. As the Donaldsons celebrate this extraordinary milestone, they also remember and honor Lewis Donaldson, the third-generation owner and beloved family member whose generosity and integrity continue to inspire the family. It is in his loving memory that the [[Page E1007]] Donaldsons carry forward a proud tradition of service and dedication. Mr. Speaker, I invite my colleagues to join me in commemorating the 120th anniversary of Donaldson Farms, an exemplary representation of New Jersey's agricultural excellence and community spirit. Their twelve decades in business stand as a testament to their perseverance, commitment, and love for farming. I extend my warmest congratulations to the entire Donaldson family and wish them continued success for many years to come. ____________________
