Madam Speaker, I was unavoidably detained on October 29, 2019 during roll call no. 587, On Ordering the Previous Question, H. Res. 655, Providing for consideration of H. Res. 296, affirming the United States record on the Armenian Genocide. Had I been present, I would have voted ``yea.'' I was also unavoidably detained during roll call no. 588, On Agreeing to the Resolution, H. Res. 655, Providing for consideration of H. Res. 296, affirming the United States record on the Armenian Genocide. Had I been [[Page E1395]] present, I would have voted ``yea.''
