The Chief, FSD will make an initial determination on a claim within 60 days after the day on which the claim is accepted for filing. The initial determination will state: (a) If the claim is disapproved, the reason for disapproval, or (b) If the claim is approved, the amount of compensation and the basis on which the amount was determined.
